Steve is a dedicated member of the Hampstead community, where he and his wife Shannon have raised their children. Two children are graduates of North Carroll High School, while the younger two are currently in 8th and 5th grades in the Carroll County Public School system.
Steve’s career in business spans 31 years, during which he has become the owner and operator of Beverage Journal, Inc., a local company based in Hampstead. His professional experience has equipped him with valuable skills that he now brings to his political endeavors.
A committed conservative activist, Steve first engaged in the Tea Party movement in 2010. Since 2017, he has been a citizen activist with COS Action, focusing on organizing and activating fellow conservatives. He has worked closely with Maryland legislators in Annapolis, testifying in legislative hearings and lobbying both Republicans and Democrats.
Steve's political experience expanded in 2021 when he became an Associate Regional Director for the Convention of States Foundation. There, he continues to work with grassroots activists and state legislators across multiple state capitols, building coalitions and advancing conservative legislation.
